Concerned Citizens For Clean Water, Inc. – SaveOurWaterSupply.org
Concerned Citizens for Clean Water, Inc. is a non-profit corporation composed of citizen volunteers working to protect the Ogallala Aquifer and other domestic drinking water supplies from pollution and depletion. With over 700 members in New Mexico and West Texas, CCCW boasts the support of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and provides information about CAFOs, dairies, human health and more on their website.

Dairy Feedlot Contributions to Groundwater Contamination A Preliminary Study in New Mexico
An analysis of groundwater samples collected from 26 monitoring wells around seven manure lagoons on dairies in New Mexico. Preliminary results indicated that mean contaminant concentrations exceeded groundwater quality standards for nitrate, ammonia, chloride, and TDS at all dairies and all wells.
