Waterkeeper Alliance Announces Endorsements for USDA Agricultural Air Quality Task Force

This September, Waterkeeper Alliance (Waterkeepter) and a group of environmental, animal welfare, and family farm organizations officially announced their nominations to serve as advisers to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on the Agricultural Air Quality Task Force (AAQTF). Included in this list of nominees are two of our very own SRAP Consultants, Terry Spence and Chris Peterson, both of whom are family farmers.  Formed in 1996, the AAQTF advises the Secretary of the USDA on agriculturally-related air quality issues, and works to promote and strengthen research efforts dealing with the negative economic and environmental effects of factory farming operations.
