HELP HOTLINE Are you organizing against a factory farm? Contact us for free, expert advice!
PHOTOS & VIDEOS View photos and videos of both factory farms and socially responsible farms.
Factory farms impair human health, damage the environment, and degrade the communities in which they are constructed. In combination with corporate agriculture, they have also destroyed most of the processing and marketing opportunities that were once available to conventional farmers and ranchers. The Socially Responsible Agricultural Project educates the public about the problems caused by factory farms, works to help communities protect themselves from the devastating impacts of these facilities while, at the same time, providing help and guidance for those who are trying to reclaim agriculture by producing and marketing sustainable agricultural goods.
If you need help protecting your community from a factory farm, we can provide free, professional assistance. Similarly, if you are trying to establish a sustainable agricultural operation, we can provide species-specific advice and assistance from farmers and ranchers who are making or have already made a similar transition.
Our organization offers the knowledge and skills of a diverse team of experienced experts who live throughout the US and Canada. These experts understand the challenges faced by agricultural communities (most are independent family farmers themselves), and have years of experience working with rural communities and individual farmers and ranchers. We gladly provide professional assistance and there is never any charge for our services.
